"Ain't Learned Nothin' Yet," the first single off of Canadian Country music recording artist Jerry Sereda's upcoming album Turn The Country Up, has hit #10 on the National Aboriginal Top 40 Chart. The chart is compiled of the best of the best in the country in terms of song requests, number of spins and overall popularity.
“Once you've got an entire community on your side who are willing to support you on your musical path, getting "bigger" will only come naturally.” says host of the Countdown Melissa Spence. “His songs always move up the chart quickly simply because they are liked (often loved) by so many who've been following him since the beginning.”
Getting on the Countdown, let alone hitting the top ten, is nothing new for Jerry since he had the great experience of having two songs from his debut album hit #1 on the Top 40 Countdown last year.
“It’s an absolute honor to make the top 10.” Jerry Sereda shares. “It is definitely exciting and a huge surprise every time it has happened. I owe a lot to the listeners for requesting my songs.”
The video for the single was recently added to medium rotation on Country Music Television Canada (CMT). Jerry has also been the featured artist on the CMT.ca website for the past number of weeks.
Jerry has been making a name for himself throughout the past year seeing his single launch across Canada last month to Canadian Country radio as well as playing key showcases at the CCMA's in Edmonton and, most recently, CMW in Toronto. He will be heading out on the road this summer to promote his fall album release.
