On Saturday April 21st, wave goodbye to winter's icy grip and get your mitts on the new full length release from Winnipeg's SitDownTracy. The "Twenty Something Winters" CD Release will feature SitDownTracy's fifty fingers, alongside two yet to be determined musical acts, performing the album in its entirety at Lo Pub (330 Kennedy Street).
"Twenty Something Winters" is an independently produced collection of modern compositions, blending the quirks and quarks of Canadian pop with the timeless qualities of rock, jazz, and roots music. This supercollision of styles, complemented by the band's ever-growing landscape of instrumentation and their devout appreciation for vocal harmonies, creates an earnest sound that is both fresh and familiar.
