In the summer of 2011 The RIF gained valuable experience on the road through western Canada. "It's surprising how inspired you become when you're fueled by ham sandwiches and have been sleeping in a van for a month." The fall saw a pile of wring sessions followed by some new demos recorded in the winter. The band is currently playing regular gigs, applying to festivals across Canada and working on grant applications to help finance a 2012 release.
