As momentum builds on an exciting start to 2017, Nathan has been enjoying the rewards of some of the ground work laid in fall 2016.

The most exciting news has been for a recent song placement on NBC Universal's "The Path 2010".  March 22nd episode "Restitution" airing on Hulu, will feature one of Nathan's songs "Open Wide".  The song is from his collaboration project with Michelle Lockey on their Blu Cedar EP "Open Wide".

The song was pitched last fall after he made a promotional trip to L.A. to attend workshops and network with some of the publishers he is signed with. The song can be heard on Soundcloud or purchased on itunes.

In 2015 Nathan began working with artist Adriana Lycette and together they started their folk duo South and Royal.  They wrote and recorded their first album in 2016 that was geared to be marketted to the film/tv industry.  As a part of the promotional trip to L.A. in 2016 they pitched their music to several prominent publishers.  Their entire album was picked up by Match Maker Music in L.A. and is currently being pitch to major networks around the world.  Nathan and Adriana were thrilled to have their album selected at the feature of the month which is coinciding with the March release of their debut album "Hold On".  The feature can be seen at the site below.

South and Royal had their first Canadian performance on Feb 14th at a Valentine's Day event in Boissevain, MB.  They are currently booking shows for summer 2017 and Spring 2018 as part of their album promotional tour.

Nathan continues to keep busy as a solo artist and performer as well with bookings coming in across Canada.  He has been a regular performance feature at the Sawmill Open mic and will be participating in the Via Rail Artists on board programs in July 2017.  His performance schedule will be posted soon on his website as he takes to the trains to perform for passengers on the train as well as at key city stops and at the rail terminals.
