When Winnipeg pop-rock outfit Not Quite Lucy parted ways, fans were out of luck... until frontman Jason Charney hooked up with guitarist Joe Curtis, bassist Gilles Fournier, and Crash Test Dummy Mitch Dorge on drums to form Charlie Redstar.

The band's much anticipated, self-titled debut was recorded by Dorge at his own Sis-Boom-Bah Studios, and features Luke McMaster in a guest appearance.
