Ex-Girls keyboardist Patrick Keenan will be releasing his debut solo album, entitled As Constant as the Northern Car, features guest appearances from a number of prominent Winnipeg artists. Bluegrass celebs the D.Rangers are on the album, as is Carter Monrose pedal-steel player Bill Western, soprano Sharon Johnson and ex-Jet Set Satellite and Farrell Bros. drummer Jeff Tetrault. The entire album is driven by Keenan's piano and vocal arrangements, engineered and mixed by ex-Tequila Mockingbird member Graham Playford. Self-produced, the album was mastered by Scott Pinder at Polyphonic Mastering Labs.
