Jacob and Lily\'s debut release, The Cathedral, recorded on location in various venues throughout Winnipeg captures a raw and honest look at the ideas of brokeness and hope. Realities that shape us, inspire us, motivate and move us.
Recorded in a church, theatre, restaraunt and our homes, The Cathedral captures the essence of this duo\'s unique and organic sound. Karla Adolphe\'s profound songwriting, intense vocal performances and Caleb Friesen\'s complex fusion-style drumming prove to be suprisingly dynamic. Complimented by some of Winnipeg\'s finest; Brian James (former Quinzy guitarist) Jordan Jackiew, Sarah Hanan and Sean Taubner each added the finishing touches to a stark and moving project.
