A cast of local musicians, including Rodrigo Munoz (percussion), Ken Gold (saxophone), Gilles Fournier (bass) and several others help the vocalist/guitarist re-create the warm melodies of his home country. Standout tracks include Cangaceiro Lampiao, a song with a breezy, uplifting melody, and Amaneci Llorando, a deeply moving and passionate bolero."
