In creating this work, Andrew Balfour started by writing a contemporary legend which incorporates iconic figures from the Cree Culture. The visuals for this DVD were created by Bryan Besant in collaboration with Andrew Balfour and projected on a large screen as an integral part of the performance of the work by Camerata Nova at its premiere in 2006 and, subsequently, at its presentation at the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra's New Music Festival in 2007.
