Tuesday Bloom’s self-titled full-length CD produced by Adrian Bradford (Amanda Falk, Fresh IE, Greg Sczebel) is a heart-filled rock album. It takes off with the instantly compelling ‘Show Me the Way’, drawing you into a U2-esque aggressive groove. As the album continues, ‘Lift Me Up’ and ‘Sunset’ offer inspiring feel-good melodies whereas ‘Free’ and ‘I Surrender’ showcase the artists’ raw energy and depth. Of particular note are the driving rhythms of ‘My Everything’ and ‘Your Love’ and the lush cello sounds and vocal ache of ‘Smell the Flowers.’ True to their Franco Canadian roots, the band graces listeners with two French tracks to tie up the album: ‘Guide-moi’ and ‘Tu me relèves’.
