Blame It On Floor Thirteen

If you're a gamer, you might find some Floor Thirteen under your tree this holiday season...

The band licensed its song, “Blame It On Me,” to major video game company EA Games in August. Since then, EA Games has placed the song in top selling game franchise, Need For Speed. The game is expected to be played by millions across 30 different countries.

The same track also appears in the latest in the popular franchise, The Sims. The Sims 4 is schedule for release in February 2009. If it’s anything like past Sims games, millions of people will forgo sleep to concentrate on the highly-addictive simulation game.

Since the summer release of its debut full length, Mmmm!, the band has been turning up in more than just games. In September, “Blame It On Me” popped up on George Stroumboulopoulos’ The Strombo Show. The next month, the band headed to the U.K. to showcase for major industry bigwigs in London’s MUSEXPO Europe, along with fellow Manitoba band, Domenica. Floor Thirteen was also the featured artist on internationally syndicated import radio show, Passport Approved, which airs all over the U.S. and has a presence in Germany and the U.K.
