RESONATE: THE CONCERT FOR MUSICOUNTS

Three local acts are coming together for a special benefit concert for Canadian music education charity MusiCounts. Resonate: The Concert for MusiCounts, which takes place on February 20 at the West End Cultural Centre, features performances by rock act The Pushing Daisies, up-and-coming singer/songwriter Joel Nickel, and A New Honour front man William Prince.
Associated with CARAS, the association behind The JUNO Awards, MusiCounts exists to help to keep music alive in schools across Canada. MusiCounts’ mission is to ensure that children in Canada, regardless of socio-economic circumstances and cultural background, have access to a comprehensive music program through their school. MusiCounts includes Band Aid musical instrument grants, the MusiCounts Teacher of the Year Award, Scholarships, and other music education initiatives.
Tickets for Resonate are $10 at the door. Showtime is 8pm.
