WCMAs -Third time's a charm

Jodie has been chosen to perform at this year’s Western Canadian Music Awards! The 2007 WCMAs will be held in Moose Jaw, SK, October 18-21, 2007. This year will mark the third time that Jodie has been chosen to perform at the event, which is unprecedented for a Manitoba jazz artist. Jodie showcased in the festival when it was held in Calgary and Regina in previous years.

“I am honoured to have been chosen to showcase at this year’s WCMAs,” Jodie said. “I am so proud of this accomplishment, and thrilled to be representing the Manitoba jazz scene once again in this great festival. I can’t wait to let everyone hear some of the music that is coming out of Winnipeg.”

One of the largest music events held in Canada each year, the Western Canadian Music Awards, conference and festival are rotated through the Yukon Territory and western provinces, with 2007 being Saskatchewan’s host year. For more information, please visit http://www.westerncanadianmusicawards.ca.
