Grey Cup fever has officially taken over Winnipeg.  Regardless of  your football appreciation, there are plenty of events happening throughout the city over the weekend, including dozens of concerts.

The Magic ofnthe Prairies concert series features homegrown talent at the Winnipeg Convention Centre and MTS centre November 16-18, including Doc Walker, Easily Amused, The Waking Eyes, Pushing Daisies, Eagle & Hawk and ex-pat Tom Cochrane with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.

A two-night music festival, Cupfest, runs November 17 and 18 and features performances at a variety of venues by the likes of Alverstone, The River City Hum, and Andrew Neville & The Poor Choices. For a full schedule of events plus a listing of other events happening over the weekend, take a tour of MARIA's Live Music Calendar.
