Thieves Steal Gear and Music from Fresh I.E.

Thieves have stolen thousands of dollars from popular, Winnipeg-based Christian rapper Fresh I.E. (a.k.a. Rob Wilson), CBC reported this evening. The two-time Grammy nominee has lost computer hard drives filled with his music, including tracks from lastest recording Lockjaw, which has a planned March release date. In addition, the computers held music from other artists that Wilson has been working with.

Hearing about gear being stolen, let alone computers, is pretty sad. It feels particularly gross considering how much Wilson does for the community and at-risk youth in particular. I hope the police can recover something for him.  Blah.
