Ash Koley To Play Lilith Fair

Posted on

Lilith Fair is back and Ash Koley is one of the first 40 acts to be announced. The quirky pop duo, which is co-managed by Burning Circus Management's Glen Willows (Inward Eye, Sons of York) and Nettwerk's Terry McBride, features songwriter/producer Phil Deschambault and Winnipeg-born, Toronto-based singer/songwriter Ash Koley.

Koley and Deschambault have been collaborating since 2004, hitting mainstream radio with "Mary the Inventor," which was also featured in Paris Hilton vehicle, The Hottie and the Nottie. More recently, their track "Don't Let Your Feet Touch Ground" landed on hit show, So You Think You Can Dance. Meanwhile, Ash Koley has been active on YouTube, posting 18 videos including their behind-the-scenes bathroom series.

Last month, the duo released White, the first in a series of four three-song digital EPs. The limited edition EPs feature songs from original sessions, before they're  completed and produced for the duo's album, which is slated for a spring release on Nettwerk/Sony.

Lilith Fair will start its tour this summer, heading to a number of cities including Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Expat Chantal Kreviazuk is also on the Lilith list.
