SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 4pm CST Wednesday, January 19, 2011

Manitoba Music’s Aboriginal Music Program is presenting a showcase of Aboriginal artists from Manitoba during the Reservation Economic Summit in Las Vegas on Wednesday, March 16, 2011. This event provides an excellent opportunity for Aboriginal artists to connect with decision makers in the Native American business community along with Tribal government leaders and Native American media representatives.

To be considered for a showcase, you must:
• Have a current or upcoming release (demo / EP / full-length)
• Be export-ready (prepared to capitalize on opportunities in the US)
• Have financial capacity to undertake travel and accommodations in Las Vegas (Market Access Program Support is available, but will not cover full costs)
• Be a member of Manitoba Music OR be willing to become a member of Manitoba Music if you are invited to participate. For more information about Manitoba Music membership, visit manitobamusic.com or contact Rachel Stone (975.5190, rachel@manitobamusic.com). NOTE: If you are accepted, you must become a member of Manitoba Music by Monday, January 31.

• “RES2011 Showcase” in the subject line
