Manitoba Music Showcase in Los Angeles

Manitoba Music is presenting a showcase of Manitoba artists in Los Angeles on May 29, 2012. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase in front of top names in the L.A.-based music and film industries in an intimate environment. Selected artists will perform a semi-acoustic showcase of approximately 25 minutes.

Los Angeles is home to some of North America’s most important music industry professionals and this showcase will target labels, publishers, music supervisors, program directors and more. Manitoba Music will work directly with each selected artist to identify members of the industry they are interested in inviting. The showcase in L.A. will take place in conjunction with a music industry networking event which participating artists or artist managers would be expected to attend, and which would be open to others from the Manitoba music industry.

Artists and companies not applying to showcase but wanting to participate in the business-to-business networking event should contact Sean McManus at their earliest convenience.

To be considered for a showcase, you must:

Have a current recording (demo / EP / full-length)
Be export-ready (prepared to capitalize on international opportunities)
Be available to perform a semi-acoustic showcase in Los Angeles on May 29
Have the financial capacity to undertake travel to and accommodations in Los Angeles
(Market Access Program Support is available, but will not cover full costs)
Be a Manitoba Music member
