Showcase Opportunity: Manitoba Music at CAPACOA

Manitoba Music is accepting submissions for a showcase as part of the CAPACOA (Canadian Arts Presenting Association) Conference to be held January 23-26, 2013 in Toronto. This is an opportunity to perform for and network with influential music industry professionals including talent buyers from theatres and performing arts centres from across Canada and around the world.

CAPACOA is a four-day event that brings together over 200 members and key industry stakeholders from the national and international touring performing arts sector, with an emphasis on professional development, networking, and advocacy. The conference includes an exhibit hall, live performances, peer-to-peer meetings, keynote speakers, workshops and more.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must:

Have a current or upcoming release (demo / EP / full-length)
Be export-ready (able to capitalize on opportunities in Canada and internationally)
Have financial capacity to undertake travel and accommodations (Market Access Program support is available, but will not cover full costs)
Be a Manitoba Music member
