The Back Forty folk Festival is turning 25. The annual celebration of music will return to the Morden Park to blow out the candles and kick off this Year of Music's summer festival season on Sunday, June 1.

This year's lineup has a little something for everything, including performances by JUNO-nominated roots/blues maven Little Miss Higgins, indie darling Shotgun Jimmie, ethereal singer/songwriter Demetra, children's act Seanster and the Monsters, roots/bluegrass performer Jess Reimer, singer/songwriter Warren Friesen, and more.

Kicking off the first Sunday in June each year, the Back Forty Folk Festival strives to keep homemade music alive. The intimate festival draws about 1,000 people and features food vendors, local artisan's crafts, activities for the kids, and of course, live music.
