One of Winnipeg's favourite music spots is having a birthday party and you’re invited.

The Park Theatre turns 10 this year, and to celebrate, it’s having a four-day party with some of its best musical friends. The bash kicks off on October 1 with bombastic Edmonton six-piece, The Wet Secrets. Dangercat, Harley James Flett, Mobina Galore, and The Ripperz' Chris Sawatzky will hit the stage for some mayhem on October 2. October 3 sees Park faves The Perpetrators and The Reverend Rambler offering up some face-melting blues rock. The venue caps off its 10th anniversary weekend with songwriter night on October 4 featuring Scott Nolan, Romi Mayes, Zachary Lucky, Kieran West, and Richard Inman.

A renovated movie theatre that opened in the fall of 1915, the venerable institution has established itself as one of Winnipeg's busiest rooms, with over 300 events per year including music, comedy, theatre, and film. The Park was named Venue of the Year at the 2014 Western Canadian Music Awards, having picked up nods for the award in 2012, 2013, and 2015.
