The Manitoba Electronic Music Exhibition, also known as the MEME Festival, plugs in this week for four days of cutting edge multimedia art and music. Running August 11-14, downtown Winnipeg becomes the playground for homegrown and world class DJs, VJs, and artists who will be showcasing music and digital art in venues including the Pyramid Cabaret, Forth, Winnipeg Art Gallery,  441 Main, and outdoors at The Cube in Old Market Square.

What started as a collective of like-minded people passionate about electronic music in 2010 has turned into a destination event for Winnipeg.

This year's headliners include Esette (Isis Graham), LongWalkShortDock, Greg Gow, Matt the Alien, Daega Sound, Demuir, Astromar, and more.

The local electronic music scene shines at the festival with over 30 homegrown artists including John Norman, Ghost Twin, Sputnik, Kasm, Nathan Zahn, The Shake, Shael, Justin Kace, and many more.
