Big Fun is ready to warm up your winter. The indie winter festival is ready to take over Winnipeg January 25-29, offering up five days of music on various city stages including The Good Will, The Handsome Daugher, West End Cultural Centre, and Sherbrook Inn. This year's event features over a dozen concerts and over 49 acts, including many headlining locals. 

This year's eclectic lineup includes 3Peat, Basic Nature, The Catamounts, Champagne Years, Haitia, Joanne Pollock, Lev Snowe, Living Hour, Mahogany Frog, Micah Visser, Mise en Scene, Mulligrub, Studio 393's The O.B., Odanah, Slow Spirit, Tansy, Tunic, Viva Non, just to name a few. A thwack of other Manitobans take the stage throughout the festival alongside touring artists, including Hannah Epperson, Julie Doiron & The Wrong Guys, Slow Down Molasses, Ponteix, and more. 

Manitoba Music is joining the Big Fun fun again this year with a Manitoba Music Showcase on January 27 at The Good Will with Mulligrub, Joanne Pollock, Slow Spirit, Micah Visser, and Ponteix. 

Big Fun and Manitoba Music will also present a safer spaces panel at Fools & Horses on January 26 at 5:30PM featuring The Good Will's Tyler Sneesby, acclaimed Anishinaabe MC and singer/songwriter Leonard Sumner, beatboxer-activist Alexa Joy of Black SpaceJodie Layne, and more, moderated by Winnipeg Free Press columnist and Screaming In All Caps contributor Jen Zoratti

Music fans can help kick off Big Fun on December 22 at The Good Will with sets from Ivory Waves, Viva Non, and The Jom Salon.
