2010 Native American Music Award Winners - Best Rock Album
Segweh brings together musicians from different backgrounds to create a new and unique sound that takes from many influences. Atik & Neewa, Marc, and Anthony are experienced Juno winners for previous work from other projects.
This project is moving towards being a positive influence on the local and national arts scene, showing that through our different backgrounds and cultures that people can come together to create beautiful music regardless of social standing, culture, race or language. Its music has a contemporary direction, and will be hard to pigeonhole into one genre, but recognizable to all.
