Skender Sefa
Classical, World Music
Skender Sefa is a professional classical guitarist based out of Winnipeg with four CD recordings on the GFI Masterworks Label and Marquis Records label.
Skender teaches at both the University of Manitoba Faculty of Music Preparatory Division and the Manitoba Conservatory of Music and is the President of the Winnipeg Classical Guitar Society.
Skender's performance experience includes several concerts with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, the Manitoba Opera Association and for the Winnipeg Classical Guitar Society.
In recognition of his career in classical guitar performance, Skender has recieved awards from both the Manitoba Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts.
