Shaking Hands and Taking Names, The Treble's first E.P., has proven an exceptional description of the band’s first year, which has included arena and stadium shows, a musical showcase, an eastern Canadian tour, regular radio air play, and work on their second E.P., all driven by an honest love of music, friendship, and a 'play every show' attitude.
In early 2012, The Treble seized the opportunity to turn industry heads by accepting an invitation to perform at a Los Angeles showcase, hosted by the Consulate General of Canada. Coinciding with this trip, the boys landed a gig at Amplyfi, the recently crowned "best all-ages venue in Los Angeles".
Following this successful trip, and on the back on a spot in regular rotation on Astral's Hot 103 - by whom they were also touted "one of the best breakout bands of 2012", The Treble embarked upon their first eastern Canadian tour. Gaining fans everywhere they played, The Treble were even given the opportunity to play their first show at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern in downtown Toronto.
Returning home, the boys set about organizing their second annual ’24 Shows in 24 Hours’ charity event. Having gained a cult following during the inaugural event, this year’s gathered even greater attention and reinforced the band’s philosophy that from busking, to arenas, the opportunity to perform and share their music with others is cherished.
