Vanessa Kuzina is holding on to her hat as her picks and pen are carrying her across the Nation. A member of country-roots femmes fatales, Oh My Darling, she is riding high with a 2009 Western Canadian Music Award nomination for Best Roots Album. Pickin' n' grinin' with national spinning on the CBC's airwaves, touring extensively through Canada and Europe with a highlight performance on Canada Day in Trafalgar Square, and appearances at Canada's greatest folk festivals. Vanessa released her debut solo album Peony in 2007, produced by Juno award winner Dan Donahue, 2 WCMA nominated recordings with Oh My Darling in 2009 and 2010 and is about to release Oh My Darling's sophomore album Sweet Nostalgia ( produced by Steve Dawson) in autumn 2011. Vanessa is stirring up some dust. Not for the bashful this country belle will ask you to two-step then break your heart with three chords and the truth.
