We are upping the ante on one of our most in-demand workshop topics: funding. This year’s funding workshop will be broken into comprehensive sections with information going from basic and introductory to more action-orientated. We will cover different funding sources, eligibility requirements, deadlines and changes in familiar programs. FACTOR’s new representative and MARIA’s own, Sara Stasiuk will be on hand to help with one of the most challenging aspects of filling out those darned applications: budget lines. MARIA executive director Sam Baardman and Manitoba Film & Sound’s Manager of Sound Recording Programs Kevin Walters will also be on hand for their show-stopping advice on the all important marketing plan and ways to maximize on your application.
