Bands are told all of the time that they need to sign some sort of deal to make it big. So what is the deal? This panel will examine all sorts of contracts in the music industry, from indie to major label, PD deals and distribution to publishing and from management to getting mechanical royalties. The panel will flesh out all the ways an artist can maximize on the fine print and who can help them sign on each dotted line. A lawyer will be on hand as well as a label representative to explain the different variables and how the process is evolving.
