About

With the growth of digital and social media, and marketing choices, indie artists can act as their own label and build their own business. Piecing together the building blocks from the DIY Series workshops, this session will help participants understand the tools necessary to plan and promote a successful launch of their album.

About DIY Series
The MusicWorks DIY Series is a new stream of workshops that allows new and emerging artists and industry, as well as veterans looking to update their skills, the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the music business. It all starts with important topics that everyone needs to master including bio writing, mastering social media, pitching for publicity, touring, and understanding copyright, and ends with planning a record release, showing how each of these puzzle pieces fit together to create a cohesive strategy.

*Members can register in advance for all six workshops in The DIY Series for only $45 (a 25% discount)*
