This workshop will discuss how to properly shop your material to capitalize on licensing opportunities, provide insight into what gets placed and why, and cover licensing revenues.

About DIY Series

The MusicWorks DIY Series is a stream of workshops that offers emerging artists and music companies, as well as veterans looking to update their skills, the opportunity to learn music business fundamentals. The January session starts with important topics that everyone needs to master including an intro to the music business, crowdsourcing, music licensing, viral video, and creating a cohesive publicity strategy.
