About

For anyone working in music, understanding day-to-day business activities is essential. This workshop will cover common financial issues from daily bookkeeping to cash flowing a tour, organizational strategies for keeping your business affairs in order, and administrative tasks such as filing with SOCAN or applying for a visa.

The MusicWorks DIY Series is a stream of workshops offering emerging artists, music companies, and veterans looking to update their skills, the opportunity to learn music business fundamentals. The 2015 session kicks off with important topics that everyone needs to master including an intro to the music business, accounting/administration, strategic development, the new EPK, and creating a cohesive publicity strategy.

Members can register HERE in advance for all five workshops in The DIY Series for only $40 (a 25% discount).
