About

There are hundreds of media people in Canada and the U.S. that need to hear your music if you are planning on having a long term career in the industry. Undertaking a national media and publicity campaign to promote your brand may seem daunting, but it’s not impossible. This workshop will focus on the role of a publicist and how people can effectively do their own publicity and get their music into the hands of these industry taste makers.

The MusicWorks DIY Series is a stream of workshops offering emerging artists, music companies, and veterans looking to update their skills, the opportunity to learn music business fundamentals. The 2015 session kicks off with important topics that everyone needs to master including an intro to the music business, accounting/administration, strategic development, the new EPK, and creating a cohesive publicity strategy.

Members can register HERE in advance for all five workshops in The DIY Series for only $40 (a 25% discount).
