About

For anyone working in music, understanding day-to-day business activities is essential. This discussion will cover common financial issues from daily bookkeeping to cash flowing a tour, organizational strategies for keeping your business affairs in order, and administrative tasks such as filing with SOCAN or applying for a visa.

The MusicWorks DIY Series is a stream of discussions offering emerging artists, music companies, and veterans looking to update their skills, the opportunity to learn music business fundamentals. The 2016 session kicks off with important topics that everyone needs to master starting with an update and refresher for participants from this past fall’s DIY Series, accounting/administration, strategic development, the new EPK, and creating a cohesive publicity strategy.

Members have until February 10 to register HERE in advance for all five workshops in the DIY Series for only $40 (20% discount).
