Opening up your touring network by reaching into rural markets in your own back yard can be an important and lucrative step to building your career. This free workshop, part of Manitoba Showcase 2016, will highlight the advantages of touring rural communities and explore the common struggles that both artists and presenters face. It will address some of the friction points and offer thoughtful solutions in an attempt at demystifying some of the more challenging aspects of presenting shows and touring in Manitoba.
