Back 40 Folk Festival
About
The Back 40 Folk Festival has a vision to elevate homemade music in southern Manitoba, to provide world-class development and performance opportunities to local musicians and to attract the nation’s finest artists into southern Manitoba to perform in our backyard.
The Back 40 Folk Festival is a non-profit organization which strives to keep homemade music alive! We kick off the festival season the first Sunday in June each year, providing a personal and intimate festival experience for both performers and attendees! About 2,000 people and volunteers take part each year; they enjoy tasty food vendors, peruse local artisan's crafts, take part in the kid's activities and listen to music of all kinds.
We look forward to another exciting festival, providing local artists a place to play, and local music for people to enjoy!
Advanced admission is $15, tickets at the gate are $20, kids under 12 are free.
