Manitoba Music is taking over The Lo Pub once again for a showcase of local talent on November 26.  The line-up includes indie upstarts Cannon Bros., rock/pop outfit Federal Lights, live band hip-hop act Alfa, and newcomers Mitten Claps. The showcase offers these acts an opportunity to connect with the industry tastemakers and continue to build on their success.

The four acts will perform for the influential panelists in town for Manitoba Music’s Music Management panel on the same day, which is co-presented with Music Managers Forum Canada. Visiting panelists include Nick Blasko & Piers Henwood Artist Management co-owner Nick Blasko (Tegan & Sara), 'Parkside' Mike Renaud of Upper Management and Hidden Pony Records (Said the Whale, Odds, Brandon Pacheco), and Coalition Entertainment's Liam Killeen (Hail the Villain).

Throughout the year, Manitoba Music produces special showcases of local talent for the guest speakers from the MusicWorks professional development workshop series. The series presents experienced music industry veterans and hot new trend setters speaking on the most important topics for today’s artists and music industry entrepreneurs. These showcase events offer Manitoba acts a unique opportunity to perform for and network with leading music industry professionals.
