These three releases include collaboration by members of all three groups. On March 3rd the trio of groups will share the stage as one performing collective named “The Manitobanits” for a very special Tri-Album release party.

The Manitobandits sing songs that both champion and expose life in Winnipeg and Manitoba alike. Anchored in a great sense of place and wistfully playful observation, the group attempts to describe vignettes of the prairie metropolis they live in, along with musical tributes of historical Manitoban folk heroes. The Manitobandits blend Rock, Folk, Blues, Psych, and Country music in a multi-fronted, guitar and organ led song circle.

The three releases were each recorded with help from Matt Peters. Andy Rudolf mixed Smoky Tigr, Eusebio Lopez provided engineering for Ultra Mega. Jan Quackenbush provided tracking and mixing for Blond Goth. All three recordings will be released on Transistor 66. Blond Goths tape will also be released by Eat Em' Records.
