About

Aboriginal songwriters of the year, Twin Flames, combine two accomplished and very unique singer songwriters. Jaaji, an Inuk Mohawk man from Nunavik, and Chelsey June an Algonquin Cree Métis Woman from Ottawa. Together, with their band, Twin Flames takes the audience on a musical journey across Canada and the Arctic, they echo the voices of their ancestors and depict life on the land as they sing songs in English, Inuktitut and French. They leave audiences fascinated, intrigued and inspired.

Manitoba artists Jade Turner and Brad Atkinson round out this diverse event.

Jade Turner is a Canadian Country Artist and Red Seal Millwright from Misipawistik Cree Nation.. Her lyrics are created from her life in the north and her second album “North Country” pays tribute to campfires, fishing and northern lights

Brad Atkinson is an Ojibway from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Music is a big part of his life and he will be bringing us his tasty guitar skills, versatile voice and Blues/Rock vibe.
