About

Inukshuk Entertainment Presents:

Indie Week at The Pyramid ROUND 2!

Friday night is going to be a hot night in Winnipeg! Come check out three great Winnipeg bands for what promises to be a solid night of indie music.

Tickets are only $5 each. Get em at the door or from any of the artists.

Casati
Like three hearts beating in perfect time, the music of Casati is a living thing. Constantly changing, evolving and reinventing itself. Grace Hrabi, Jesse Popeski & Quintin Bart search for stories waiting to be told and collaborate in bringing them to life. Songs about love found or lost, cautionary tales of time slipping away or even a whimsical tune about bicycle rides. No matter the story, and no matter the style, the trio doesn’t shy away from following the music. With folk, jazz and pop influences, Casati brings their music to life with lush three part harmonies and rich textures created with ukulele, guitar, and double bass.

Patron saint of infinite variety The Marchesa Luisa Casati fearlessly followed Art across every style and medium. The band approaches Music with the same open mind.

Casati released their first album "Afraid of Heights" in 2013 under the solo name Grace Hrabi. The project grew from that recording into what you hear today.

Disraeli Dreamers feat Mark Barron
Disraeli Dreamers is the newest group to come out of the thriving Canadian music scene. The band is comprised of all veteran musicians of other bands, who have formed with one simple goal in mind; bringing to you the best possible music we can make!

We are going to be joined by the great Mark Barron of Mark Barron music! Canadian guitarist and keyboardist based in Winnipeg. Check out Mark's solo album and new acoustic EP at markbarron.bandcamp.com.

Trampoline
Trampoline is a charismatic anti-rock outfit that formed in the summer of 2014. At its helm is the idiosyncratic and evocative songwriting of Michelle Lecnik and the creative interplay between Steve Martens (drums) and Joey Penner (bass, vocals). The musical arrangements are cinematic and percussive, blending styles of punk, indie rock and prog, with elements of folk and 90's rock nostalgia. Charged by the whims of satire, playfulness and deeply heartfelt emotion, Trampoline explores the highs and lows of the human experience and has you bouncing while they do.
