Concert of Hope for Northern Fire Evacuees

On Monday, September 4, 2017 there will be a concert at The Forks - Odena Circle in Winnipeg, MB from 1 pm - 6 pm. Local award winning musicians have stepped up to perform a free concert for Fire Evacuees who have been evacuated from their communities due to large forest fires raging in northern Manitoba.

The communities of Garden Lake, St Teresa Point, Island Lake, Wassagamack and Poplar River have been evacuated to Brandon and Winnipeg area, with over 4600 people being transported from the communities and more on the way.

There will be a donation table. Items needed:

Water
Diapers
Formula
Toiletries
Kids Toys
Hygiene products
Pacific milk

Cash donations will go towards Island Lake Tribal Council
