About

After 546 concerts in 11 countries since coming together in 2014 including Celtic Connections (Glasgow, Scotland) and National Folk Festival (Canberra, Australia) Gordie Tentrees & Jaxon Haldane hit the infamous Times Change High & Lonesome Club in Winnipeg. 8pm start. They will be debuting new songs from their upcoming European Label release GRIT on Greywood Records featuring Haldane/Tentrees co-writes "Armand, Junior", Fred Eaglesmith/ Tentrees "Craft Beards & Man Buns", a Tommy Womack/Will Kimbrough cover " I Don"t Have a Gun" as well as Willie P Bennett classic Willie's Diamond Joe.
Together with 10 instruments -banjo, dobro, cigar box guitars, musical saw, acoustic guitar, porch board bass, harmonica, snare tam & mandolin, brotherly harmonies and masterful storytelling they have arrived.

Gordie's latest record “Less is More" brings together his knack for melody with his amazing ability to hold an audience in the palm of his hands (both during and between songs) and is a deeply personal, moving, melodic and humorous look at life through the eyes of a unique and infectious personality. Yukon based, Ontario raised, farm boy, golden glove boxer, school teacher, youth counselor turned folk artist Tentrees has released 6 records touring North America, UK, Australia and Europe up to 200 concerts each year, nominated for Western Canadian Music Awards, International Song Competitions and toured with Fred Eaglesmith, Steve Poltz and Mary Gauthier.
"Less is More" was the 2016 Top 20 International Canadian Album (#12), and for the second year in a row the TOP 20 (#18) International Canadian Artist for radio play on the International Folk/Roots charts.
