"Tea for Three" by The Willows - a potent brew of caffeinated jazz and mellow, chamomile-infused balladry featuring a who's who of the Canadian jazz music scene.

Hailing from Edmonton Alberta, this now Toronto-based trio, The Willows, release their debut album Tea For Three (Flatcar Records/Fontana North), a potent brew of caffeinated Gypsy jazz to mellow, chamomile-infused balladry. The signature nostalgic charm and remarkable, refreshing harmonies of sophisticated songstresses Krista Deady (contralto), Andrea Gregorio (soprano) and Lauren Pedersen (mezzo-soprano), will transport you to a more quaint, refined, yet adventurous time in music. 

The Willows are joined by a dashing trio of bass, guitar, and drums. 

Opening the show is Impressions Jazz Group, an eclectic jazz ensemble that performs original compositions by Daniel Hollenberg, saxophonist, composer and group leader. This creative ensemble is influenced by a diverse mix of musical and cultural traditions that give the group its unique sound. From the jazz world, compositions played by the group draw from bop, avant-garde, blues, and modal jazz appeal.
