About

Film maker Beth Azore presents a new 30 minute Documentary called "IN A GOOD WAY. Laughter As Medicine" which addresses the healing force of humour through the stories of three indigenous artists. Comedians FLORENCE SPENCE and PAUL RABLIAUSKAS are joined by pioneer TV producer/Musician SHINGOOSE in exploring the process of recovery from the residential school experience, and comedy's role in that recovery. Featuring brand new "stand up" material from a variety of shows as well as archival footage of the legendary CHARLIE HILL - the authentic laughs generated in this show flow from the perspective of a community whose representation in mainstream entertainment continues to broaden and brighten.
