Prairie Soul in Concert. A musical journey through time featuring music that African Canadians have been listening to and performing in Winnipeg from their initial arrival in the late 1800s until today. Styles include Spirituals, Gospel, Blues, Jazz, Calypso, Reggae, R&B, and Soul. Led by Gerry Atwell, this multi-talented quintet will showcase the transitions within Winnipeg’s Black community over the generations.
