About
What better way to spend March 17th then dancing to the music of The Wind Ups,Speed Control & Trampoline at our punk & anti rock St Patrick’s day event!
The Wind Ups
What started as a side project, turned into Winnipeg’s best cover band. The band is made up of the always stylish lead singer, Andy Morton, bass player Rejean Ricard, guitarist Rob Pachol & drummer Jacques Dubois. Always full of charisma and never a dull moment, the Wind Ups bring a presence to the stage that is undeniable.
Speed Control (Yukon)
Straight out of -40 degrees in Canada’s Yukon, Graeme Peters, brother Jody Peters, and Ian March formed the power trio Speed Control. The three members all come from a jazz and classical background but have turned to their true passion – rock n’ roll.
Trampoline
Trampoline is a charismatic anti-rock trio that formed in the summer of 2014. At its helm is the idiosyncratic and evocative songwriting of Michelle Lecnik and the creative interplay between Steve Martens (drums) and Joey Penner (bass, vocals). The musical arrangements are cinematic and percussive, blending styles of punk, indie rock and prog, with elements of folk and 90's rock nostalgia.
Come down to the WECC, spend your St Patrick’s with us and dance the night away!
