About the performers
Based in Winnipeg, exciting power pop punk trio The 1221 was originally formed in Manila, Philippines. Young, energetic, and performance-driven, the numerically-named act consists of three talented brothers: Roman Maceda (vocals/guitars), and twins Rico Maceda (bass/vocals) and Roque Maceda (drums). The Maceda brothers simply carried on with their strong passion in music when they came to Canada. Their sound is an exciting blend of precision, modern rock n' roll tunes with striking power pop punk.
The 1221 owes their solid sound to frequent practicing and performing - and, of course - from their unique natural bond as brothers. The 1221 has performed around Winnipeg as guest performers at The Pyramid Cabaret, Club Regent Event Centre, The Park Theatre, The Cavern and The Goodwill Social Club, and the trio has toured Asia - playing gigs in Japan and the Philippines and played in Indie Week Toronto 2017.

She is planning on releasing singles and will be releasing her very first EP in March 2018.
Taylor Janzen is a singer/songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba. A self-proclaimed "sad song enthusiast", her lyrical style is confessional, using personal experiences to write songs full of emotion and honesty. This lyrical style is matched with her powerful, yet controlled vocal abilities backed by a guitar, making for songs that are expressive and melodic.
Hi my name is Preston! I am 25 years old. I've been singing since I was a young kid (bedroom singer mainly) and have been playing guitar since high school. I pursued music after high school and studied jazz and majored on guitar at Brandon University. I later dropped out on my 3rd year due to several addictions and issues I was dealing with. My music was at a standstill for a while, I never really tried composing music and I had neglected an important aspect of the industry, to network and build many friendships with musicians. It wasn't until last year or so that I started really writing music to share and be proud of. I've cleaned up and found God and that is my true inspiration for song writing. My music ranges in various styles from Christian Worship, R&B, Rock, Jazz, and others. My goal is to reach and inspire people from all walks of life, with a message of hope and to share the love of God, to help people get in touch with their spiritual mind. I'm planning to release an EP by summer 2018 and am currently performing at various open mics to share my music.
Pop, funk or a rock'n'roll cover, Free Morgan will lay it down. Pulling influence from The Chili Peppers to Jimi Hendrix, their smooth vocal melodies and ear popping guitar hooks will keep you on your toes. With a past America's Got Talent audition in Orlando and an EP release early 2018, Free Morgan is ready to rock.
