About
CaRaVaN is an "Anything Goes" open mic. A mix of music, spoken word, comedy, magic, dance, storytelling, or anything else you can think up, you'll see a range of performances from experienced artists trying out new things to people taking the stage for the first time.
CaRaVaN Open Mic & Open Stage takes place at Wee Johnny's (177 McDermot Ave) every Monday night except the 3rd Monday of the month (when we're 2 doors down at Forth). Sign up begins at 7 PM, with performances getting underway at around 7:30. Those signing up can perform up to 2 songs (musicians) or ~5 minutes (all others).
Wee Johnny's has full food service from the Johnny G's menu, as well as special pub-only food and drink specials ($5 wine, $4.75 PBR, $5 specialty poutines, 75¢ chicken fingers). The event is always free, but donations are appreciated and go a long way in helping us pay for new equipment,
