Sara Clefstad is a musician, director, and educator with over fifteen years of experience. She believes that music is a feeling-based art form with the transformational power to heal.

Known for her ability to connect with artists, students and communities, Sara brings an elegant edge to everything she offers, whether its conducting groups of singers, producing artistic endeavours or performing under the lights.

Music has brought Sara all over the world, and in Winnipeg you’ll find her entertaining late-night crowds at venues like The Time Changed High & Lonesome Club, producing concerts and collaborations for Winnipeg’s dynamic vocal ensemble Polycoro, or teaching music to students in the Louis Riel School Division.

Participants in CBC Sings will find an inspiring leader in Sara, who is a music specialist by trade, holding both a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelors of Education.
