There have been, and are still, a number of different Three Amigos configurations around, i.e. the title of a movie, the name of a moving company, etc. As regards the Winnipeg musical scene, Three Amigos is also the name of a folk-blues-folk-pop group which, though sharing a familiar name, offers a style like none other. Its uniqueness stems largely from the smooth voice of fine singer-keyboardist James Walzak. Plus, he can make the most modest of keyboards which he plays sound like Leslie organs, no less! James is joined by Jim (''Conga Jim'') Kacki on percussion, and Guy Ferraton on harmonica. With their own blend of soul... and humour, Three Amigos are beginning to rise above the familiar name to make a local musical one for themselves, as faithful audiences will attest.
